Gracie Barra Pearland has now introduced Yoga Classes to all Pearland members. Come on in and experience fun filled yoga classes for all levels and ages.
Yoga is a practice designed to revitalize your mind, body and spirit. Yoga is a great tool to better yourself and one of the best compliments to your Jiu Jitsu. Here at our school in Pearland, Yoga is designed to gain strength, increase flexibility, improve your breathing as well as heal your muscles and joints.
Yoga stimulates your muscles in a way that is much different than conventional weightlifting. Holding your body in positions and poses gives you an isometric and whole body strength that is very applicable to everyday life and Jiu Jitsu. You will develop strength in all your weakest areas and develop your core like never before.
Developing your breathing in Yoga is going to increase your energy, calm your nervous system as well as strengthen your internal organs and immune system.
