Woman’s Self Defense
Women Power is a self-defense program based on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where techniques, leverage and time are used so that anyone, regardless of age or athletic ability, can make work against larger opponents.
In this 10-class program, we will teach you how to behave in the most common attacks against women; from having your hair grabbed to being pinned to the ground by an attacker with a gun.
If you are intimidated about learning BJJ for fear of getting hurt or for any other reason, the Powerful Women program is perfect for you!
You can start the program at any time and participate in any class with no previous experience.
The empowerment mentality goes far beyond physical techniques, this program seeks to bring more awareness about the whole context of violence, aiming at prevention through risk assessment and verbal and psychological strategies that a woman can and should use to establish safe boundaries with others people.
