VINICIUS "DRACULINO" MAGALHAES

Vinicius Bittencourt Almeida Magalhães (Draculino) holds a sixth-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Carlos Gracie Jr. He is also a brown belt in Judo and practices Muay Thai. He has been teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 34 years. He has instructed numerous world and international champions in Jiu-Jitsu, mixed martial arts, and grappling. Born on July 30, 1971, he is a prominent figure in the Jiu-Jitsu scene, standing out not only for his technical skill but also for his impact as an educator, leader, and advocate for the sport.

 

Beginning his journey in martial arts in the 1980s, Draculino entered the teaching through the Gracie family, a legendary lineage in Jiu-Jitsu. His tireless dedication to training led him to achieve the black belt in 1995, a milestone that would mark the beginning of his influential career as a master.

Draculino’s connection with Gracie Barra is notable. He played a key role in the global expansion of this renowned Jiu-Jitsu academy, guiding students and instructors worldwide. His participation in competitions (among other titles, five-time Pan American champion, World Master NO GI champion, 3 times medalist ( one silver and two bronzes ) on the adult Black Belt IBJJF World Championship, Strike Force veteran, ADCC veteran, and much more) contributed to the evolution of the sport and solidified his position as a respected authority.
